What caused enlarged heart?
Heart is an important organ in every living thing including dog. It pumps blood throughout the body and it is very strong. The heart starts beating since dog was still a fetus, and it keeps on beating until the end. Enlarged heart can be divided into 2 main types:
1.Thickening of heart muscle. Imagine a bodybuilding athlete who has very big muscle because his muscle works hard. Similarly, if heart muscle works too much, e.g. thickening of heart muscle, heart valves stenosis, heart muscle will be getting thicker 2.Enlarged heart muscle. This makes the heart looks like a balloon. There are many diseases that cause enlarged heart such as enlarged heart muscle and heart valves stenosis, etc.
